David and Pat Conklin, Gettysburg, announce the engagement of their son, Ryan Allen Conklin, to Annie Laura Noel, daughter of Steve and Laurie Noel of New Oxford.
Mr. Conklin, Philadelphia, is a 2003 graduate of Gettysburg High School and is currently a senior at Temple University, majoring in film and media arts. He had served 4-1/2 years in the U.S. Army, with two tours in Iraq. Mr. Conklin is employed with NBC Olympics, Stamford, Conn.
Miss Noel, Philadelphia, is a 2003 graduate of Gettysburg High School and a 2007 graduate of Penn State University, with a degree in hotel, restaurant, and institutional management. She is employed with Aramark, Philadelphia.
A fall 2012 wedding is planned.
