Visitors to the Gettysburg Lincoln Railroad Station™ can enjoy free programming throughout the 2019 summer season. Before and after the programs, take time to explore the station through a self-guided tour. Learn about the railroad’s role at Gettysburg and President Abraham Lincoln’s arrival for the dedication of the Soldiers’ National Cemetery where he delivered the Gettysburg Address. The museum and programs offer free admission. The Gettysburg Lincoln Railroad Station™ is located at 35 Carlisle Street, Gettysburg.

Civil War Soldier Sing-A-Long: Musician Tom Fontana, portraying a union soldier, will perform Civil War songs. Tom will share the history of the music and camp life. The sing-along is a family-oriented presentation.

Of The People Living History Association: Historical educators will discuss the role of the U.S. Sanitary Commission during the Civil War. Visitors can learn about the work of the U.S. Sanitary Commission–volunteering to provide services to soldiers in the field hospitals and camps, organizing medical services, acting as nurses and performing other tasks.
