Strawberry Hill empowers children to become the next generation of conservationists. We regularly see students excited to share that they have begun recycling at home, or that they taught their friends to catch crayfish. During guided hikes, we meet families who “don’t do this sort of thing very often,” and we love to see them enjoy nature together.

These powerful experiences are essential to inspiring environmental stewardship.

Kara Ferraro is the executive director of the Strawberry Hill Foundation. Strawberry Hill inspires stewardship of our natural world by connecting the community with educational opportunities.
