Nerd Herd Gifts & Games retail store is hosting a tabletop gaming event for the deaf and hard of hearing at their 10 York St., Gettysburg, location. Sign language interpreters from LIU will be available between 11 a.m. and 2 p.m. to assist with gameplay as needed. Refreshments will be served.

Nerd Herd also welcomes all hearing persons, including those that are friends or family members of the deaf and hard of hearing community to this special event. Games will be available for all ages and skill levels with a broad range of appeal.

Gettysburg Area High School junior and Nerd Herd employee, Emma Sanders, conceived and organized the event. As a volunteer at Conewago Township Elementary and supporter of the deaf and hard of hearing community, Emma felt it was important to provide a space for this community to come experience one of her passions, tabletop gaming.

For more information, contact Sanders at Emma@NerdHerdGettysburg.com or call 717-334-6373. Nerd Herd can also be found on Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter.
