“Survey of the Bible – Understanding God’s Message” is the theme of this year’s 28th Annual Spring Bible Forum which will be held May 30 through June 2, at the Gettysburg Church of Christ.

The lectures will begin at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday and Friday and at 11 a.m. on Saturday morning followed by three lectures on Sunday at 9:30 a.m., 10:30 a.m and 5 p.m. They are open to the public at no charge.

Don Bunting, evangelist from New York City, will be the speaker of the lecture series. Bunting has been a preacher his adult life and he and wife Cami come from families of preachers. They give of their time and talents helping to organize and teach in youth camps. Bunting also conducts studies with individuals who want to understand God’s Word. He has worked with churches in West Virginia, New Jersey, and New York City for the past 14 years.

The lectures will include:

Thursday 7:30 p.m.: Foundation for Understanding the Bible (Genesis)

Friday 7:30 p.m.: God Delivers, God Saves (Exodus – Joshua)

Saturday 11 a.m.: Sin Never Seems to Stop (Judges – Chronicles)

Sunday 9:30 a.m.: Hope, God and Our Emotions (Poetry, Prophecy and Ezra – Esther)

Sunday 10:30 a.m.: Salvation is Finally Available (4 Gospels – Acts 2)

Sunday 5 p.m.: Real Life Instructions for God’s People (Acts & Letters)
