This week’s column is probably the most difficult I have had to write in the seven years I’ve done the feature!

Some of the stupidity I have witnessed firsthand and seen online has almost been breathtaking. People fighting over toilet paper, water and some food products made me think how far we have come from the two puppies sitting at my feet as I write this. Fighting over pallets of toilet paper at the big box store could be compared to a pride of lions decimating a freshly killed zebra. Locally, in and around Gettysburg, people could be seen over shopping as if some sort of plague was about to sweep Adams County.
