If you’ve been feeling under the weather recently, you aren’t alone. I went to Walmart last week to pick up some doggie treats and passed the cold and cough section of the store. You would think they were having a Black Friday sale. People were two deep reading cold and cough medications trying to decide the best relief for them.

After seeing that, I called Kathy Gmeiner. She is an Advanced Practice Clinician and Site Director of WellSpan Urgent Care in Gettysburg. Kathy confirmed what I suspected; the flu bug us alive and well in Gettysburg. She tells me in the past two or three weeks the Urgent Care walk in service has seen much higher numbers of people with the flu and flu like symptoms than earlier in the season.
