Widener University conferred degrees to more than 400 graduate students in a ceremony Friday, May 19. Commencement was held on Memorial Field at the university.

Local graduates include:

Courtney Meyer of Biglerville, who received a Master of Education from the School of Human Service Professions.

Jennifer Bishop of Gettysburg, who received a Master of Science in Nursing from the School of Nursing.

Hallie Kociemba of New Oxford, who received a Master of Science in Nursing from the School of Nursing.

Widener University also conferred degrees to more than 750 graduates in a ceremony Saturday, May 20. Commencement was held on Memorial Field at the university.

Rachel Wallace of Mcsherrystown, received a Bachelor of Science from the School of Nursing.

Elizabeth Marguerite Myers of Fairfield, graduated with a degree in kinesiology from James Madison University during the May 5, 2017 commencement exercises.

Myers was among more than 4,300 students who received undergraduate, master's, educational specialist and doctoral degrees.
