Kyle P. Miller of Gettysburg, Pennsylvania graduated magna cum laude from the University of Notre Dame with a Computer Engineering degree.

Nearly 400 incoming students participated in Summer Orientation at Bob Jones University recently. Local students include: Katelyn McClarin of Orrtanna, who will be majoring in Culinary Arts; and Hannah Risser of Aspers, who will be majoring in Non Degree — Undergrad Arts & Science.

Local students were honored at Hood College for academic performance. They include: Andrew Fratina, Gettysburg, Dean’s List spring 2019; Jessica Burnette, Littlestown; Dean’s List fall 2018 and spring 2019; Kaitlin Barron, Orrtanna, Dean’s List spring 2019 and graduated in May with a major in business administration and a concentration in marketing.

Tamara Brown, engineering major from McSherrystown, was named to Geneva College’s Dean’s List for the spring 2019 semester.

The following students have been named to the Dean’s List at the University of New Hampshire for the spring 2019 semester: Hannah Baddick of Gettysburg, earning Honors; and Camden Roy of Gettysburg, earning High Honors

Gettysburg resident William Sautter received his degree from the University of Dayton during the spring 2019 commencement ceremony. He also earned a spot on the University of Dayton’s spring 2019 dean’s list, which honors undergraduate students achieving a minimum 3.5 GPA for the semester.

A total of 11,406 students enrolled during the 2019 spring term at The University of Alabama were named to the Dean’s List with an academic record of 3.5 or above or the President’s List with an academic record of 4.0 (all A’s). Local students include: Kevin Konstalid of Gettysburg, Dean’s List; and Brady Repasky of Gettysburg, President’s List

Samuel Billand of Gettysburg, earned the distinction of Faculty Honors for Spring 2019 at the Georgia Institute of Technology. This designation is awarded to undergraduate students who have a 4.0 academic average for the semester
