Thank you, nurses

Submitted Photo St. James Associate Pastor Andrew Geib, his wife Christina Geib and Katy Clowney, St. James parish administrator, are providing weekly challenges for the church membership. The first week’s challenge, “Love Thy Neighbor,” asked members to share random acts of kindness while being mindful of social distancing. The Geibs led a group of children through town to write chalk messages of love and appreciation for emergency responders and healthcare workers. “In the midst of this time of COVID-19 and its subsequent social distancing, it is important more than ever to care for one another. With this, St. James Lutheran Church staff is attempting to do all that we can to care for its family of faith and for our local community,” Geib wrote in an email.
