YWCA starts scholarship program

Through a $25,000 grant from Adams County Community Foundation, YWCA Gettysburg & Adams County is able to offer childcare scholarships to help families in need. Quality childcare for an infant can cost more than $800 a month, making it difficult for many families to afford, even when they tighten their budgets.

Thanks to a $25,000 grant from Adams County Community Foundation, YWCA Gettysburg & Adams County is offering help for those families, said Teresa Rodgers, YWCA child enrichment program director.
