Cyclorama decision due by year's end

Posted: Tuesday, October 2, 2012 12:08 am

With the door shut on the public comment portion of the National Park Service's decision of what to do with the old Cyclorama building, NPS officials said a final decision on the 48-year-old circular building could come by the end of this year.

Gettysburg National Military Park spokesperson Katie Lawhon said that since the public comment period ended Sept. 21, park officials do not have a definite timeline for when a final decision will be rendered on the fate of the North Cemetery Ridge building that formerly housed a 360-degree painting of the Battle of Gettysburg.
