Thousands of people visit Gettysburg each year to immerse themselves in Civil War history. Snippets of other points of America’s past can be spotted throughout the town but next year, a museum dedicated solely to World War II is expected to open in Franklin Township.

The story of the museum, named World War II An American Experience, begins shortly after the war ended. Frank Buck was a young man and signs of the conflict were everywhere.
