The history of Communist China certainly has a "darker side," but the student curator of an exhibition of original propaganda posters at Gettysburg College said she hopes to shed light on "new facets" of the story.

Viewers "will be astonished by the powerful, visual impact and historical significance of these posters," said senior Molly Reynolds, who plans to deliver a public talk Dec. 6 at 4 p.m. in the college's Schmucker Art Gallery, where the posters have been on display since the beginning of November.
