Battle anniversary traffic, safety among topics at public forum

Safety, traffic and event planning were among the topics addressed by a vast contingent of local officials Tuesday night during a 150th Battle of Gettysburg Anniversary public forum at the Gettysburg Area Middle School.

Hosted by the Adams County Commissioners, in conjunction with the Gettysburg Convention and Visitors Bureau (GCVB), the event was designed to get as much information to local residents as possible about the large scale events planned for the region this summer, according to Commissioner Chairman Randy Phiel.
