Yoga raises funds for cats

Free roaming felines used to breed uncontrollably in some parts of the county, but since Adams County Community Cats (ACCC) started nearly four years ago, hundreds of cats have been spayed or neutered and then released. Veterinarian Lisa Wolkind was inspired to start the organization in Bendersville after reading articles in the Gettysburg Times about the large number of feral cats.
