Santa plans annual breakfast

Santa Claus stopped by the Gettysburg Hotel for a Starbucks coffee and to put in a request for his favorite pancakes to be served on Saturday, Dec. 7 at the annual “Breakfast With Santa” hosted by the Gettysburg Hotel from 7 to 11 a.m. Children of all ages are welcome; breakfast costs $5 per person, but children under the age of 5 eat free. Chef Joseph Holmes will offer silver dollar pancakes, eggs, sausage, pastries and more. Each child will have a picture taken with Santa and the attending elves will present the child with a special gift from Gettysburg Dental Associates, a candy cane from the hotel and an apple from Rice Fruit Company. Proceeds from the breakfast benefit United Way of Adams County’s family focused programs. For more information, contact the Gettysburg Hotel at 717-337-2000. Shown with Santa are, from left, Chef Joseph Holmes, United Way Executive Director Vicki Corbett, and Gettysburg Hotel General Manager John Berndt.
