Field fire doused

Above, firefighters from United Hook & Ladder spray water on a field fire, while below a firefighter rides on the Southeastern Adams Volunteer Emergency Services (SAVES) brush truck sprays water on the field fire Monday. Emergency personnel were dispatched to a field fire along Granite Station Road about 4 p.m. It took units from United Hook & Ladder and SAVES about 15 minutes to bring the fire under control. The fire burned about one acre of wheat stubble and there were no injuries.
