Saint Teresa’s celebrates Catholic Schools Week

Saint Teresa of Calcutta Catholic School in McSherrystown, in connection with Catholic Schools Week, held indoor games for each of the school’s grades. In one of the games, sixth graders hopped and played “rock, paper, scissors” in a spirited relay race. Started in 1974, National Catholic Schools Week is an annual celebration of Catholic education in the United States. It starts the last Sunday in January and runs throughout the week and focuses on the week’s theme: “Catholic Schools: Learn. Serve. Lead. Succeed.”
