Alleged burglary in Straban
Police are investigating an alleged burglary that occurred between June 7 and June 8 on Hunterstown Hampton Road.
The victim is a 49-year-old male of New Oxford. Police alledge an unknown person or persons created a hole in the side basement door and gained entry. Police also found a rear sliding door was unlocked.
Man charged after crash
A man crashed his vehicle into woods off a roadway at the intersection of Coon and West Point Roads June 8.
Police allege Guadalu Sanchez-Vasquez, 42, of Bendersville, was driving under the influence of alcohol when he crashed his 2005 Toyota Corolla nearly 100 feet into woods off the roadway. Sanchez-Vasquez was cited with eight charges and remains in Adams County Prison after inability to post bail, according to a magisterial docket.
Police investigate theft
Police are investigating an alleged theft of a registration plate from a vehicle on Adams Court June 8.
Police investigate mischief
Police are investigating alleged “criminal mischief” on agricultural land at the intersection of Line and Mathias Road June 8.
Police allege a man was driving under the influence of drugs at the intersection of Carlisle Pike and Stoney Point Road June 9.
Police allege a 23-year-old male of New Oxford was found possessing drugs and driving under the influence.
Woman transported after crash
A woman was transported to York Hospital after her vehicle crashed into a tree on Carlisle Pike June 9.
Brittney Elaine, 22, of Harrisburg, allegedly crossed over an opposing travel lane and hit a tree off the roadway in a 2015 Chevrolet Equinox LT. She was extracted from the vehicle by United Hook and Ladder and transported to York Hospital.
