A motorcyclist was injured May 24 on Shippensburg Road in a single-vehicle crash.
A Biglerville ambulance transported Clark Cole, 68, of Massena, N.Y., to WellSpan York Hospital after the 5:48 p.m. crash, state police said.
He was southbound when his 2008 Harley-Davidson went out of control on rough pavement in Menallen Township, police said.
A witness said the “motorcycle and rider rolled several times,” according to police.
Cole was charged with driving at an unsafe speed, according to a magisterial docket.
Someone sprayed fire extinguishers in an Aspers church last week.
Christ Lutheran Church, 1420 Center Mills Road, was entered between May 19 and May 21, state police said.
The intruder or intruders “sprayed the lower level and a stairwell,” then “threw the extinguishers into the creek behind the church,” said police, who are investigating.
Threatening photo sent
A student at Fairfield Area High School sent a photo captioned “My Targets” to several other students, state police alleged.
The student “took a photograph of himself with other unaware students in the background” approximately three months ago, police said.
Police and school staff members “were not aware of the photograph until a student came forth with it on May 15,” police said.
A 15-year-old male was arrested, said police.
A vehicle overturned May 22 while swerving to avoid another vehicle making a U-turn about a mile northeast of York Springs.
There were no injuries in the 6:53 p.m. crash at U.S. Route 15 and Bonners Hill Road, state police said.
A 2006 Toyota Corolla driven by Bipin Parmar, 61, of York Springs, was making a U-turn from northbound to southbound Route 15, police said.
Merderrious English, 21, of Abbottstown, was southbound in a 2012 Ford Explorer, police said.
