Keith W. Asper, age 60, of Gardners, passed away Thursday, Oct. 17, 2019 at Gettysburg Hospital. He was born Tuesday, Oct. 21, 1958 in Gettysburg, the son of the late Richard D. and Audrey L. (Spangler) Asper.
Mary I. Englebert, age 91, passed away peacefully on Thursday, Oct. 17, 2019 at Paramount Nursing and Rehab in Fayetteville. She was born May 22, 1928 in Hunterstown, the daughter of the late Albert, Sr., and Alice (Hemler) Plank.
Donald Herbert Gent, M.D. entered the presence of his Lord Monday, Oct., 7, 2019. He was at home and surrounded by his children. He was 92 years old. Dr. Gent was born Dec. 8, 1926, the second son of Thomas Wilfred and Cora Trippe Gent, in Endicott, New York.
Albert A. “Sonny” Kuhn, 90, of Hanover, entered into God’s eternal care on Tuesday, Oct. 15, 2019, at Hanover Hall Nursing Center. He was the husband of Mary R. (Riley) Kuhn to whom he was married 66 years.
Clyde C. Wallace, 92, of East Berlin, died Sunday, Oct. 13, 2019, at Transitions Healthcare Gettysburg. He was the husband of the late Alvie E. (Weidner) Wallace, his wife for all eternity.
Donald Herbert Gent, M.D., entered the presence of his Lord Monday, Oct. 7, 2019. He was at home and surrounded by his children. He was 92 years old. Dr. Gent was born Dec. 8, 1926, the second son of Thomas Wilfred and Cora Trippe Gent, in Endicott, New York.
Donald Francis Weaver returned to the Father on Oct. 14, 2019. Born Jan. 2 1931, he was the son of the late Mervin and Rebecca (Eline) Weaver. He was the loving husband of the late Catherine (Brady) Weaver, to whom he was married for 46 years.
Richard A. “Dick” Beatty Jr., 79, of Hanover, died Thursday, Oct. 10, at SpiriTrust Lutheran Village at Utz Terrace, Hanover. He was the husband of Linda (Strevig) Beatty for 21 years.
Dorothy A. (Sanders) Rippeon, 85, of Gettysburg, passed away peacefully on Saturday, Oct. 5, 2019, at home. She was the loving wife of the late Ralph “Wayne” Rippeon who passed away July 12, 2018; together they shared 44 years of marriage.
Dollie V. Keefer Sheaffer, age 90, of Aspers, passed away Saturday, Oct. 12, 2019, at her daughter’s home in Hanover. She was born Friday, July 26, 1929, in Mount Judea, Arkansas, the daughter of the late Columbus J. and Gracie M. (Riddell) Collins.
Lloyd S. Lindsey Jr., 83, of McSherrystown, passed away peacefully Sunday, Oct. 13, 2019, at his home with his family by his side. He was the husband of Mary Ann (Lehman) Lindsey with whom he shared 62 years of marriage.
