Alexander R. "Alex" Leib, 29, formerly of Littlestown, died Tuesday, March 4 at his home in York.
Born July 20, 1984 in Gettysburg, he was the son of Thomas R. and Deborah A. Pushwal Leib of Littlestown. Alex was a 2002 graduate of Littlestown High School and a 2007 graduate of Fairmont State University, W.Va., where he earned a degree in Architecture Engineering. He was a wood artisan and worked for and along side his mentor, Bruce Hall.
In addition to his parents, Alex is survived by a brother, Andrew C. Leib and wife Meredith of Whitsett, N.C.; and a sister, Austyn M. Leib, of Littlestown; maternal grandfather, Russell Pushwal of Garrettsville, Ohio; and paternal grandfather Robert I. Leib of Fairlawn, Ohio. He was predeceased by maternal grandmother, L. Jane Pushwal; paternal grandmother Sally A. Leib; and uncle, Dr. Doug Just.
Alex was an avid golfer and hunter and loved Penn State wrestling and football.
Funeral Service is Saturday, March 8 at 11 a.m. at New Hope Faith Community Church, 33 Sunday Drive, Hanover with Rev. Timothy J. Kielley officiating. Viewing is Friday from 5-8 p.m. at the church. Burial will be private and at the convenience of the family.
