The Pirates slashed their way past homestanding Gettysburg, using 13 errors and 7 Grays errors to pick up a win on Wednesday.
Robert Rohrbaugh led the way with three singles and three RBI. Chase King also drove home three. Cooper Ayers scored three runs in a two-hit effort, and JC Collins cashed in three more scores while reaching on a double and a walk. Cole Minovich had a pair of hits, including a double for Gettysburg. Cory Rice and Freddie Joy each drove home two. Rice and Zach Koons also doubled.
Tyler Reinert picked up the win from the hill, pitching five innings with 11 strikeouts and three walks. King closed it out.
Rice, Koons and Dereck Ivey all pitched for Gettysburg without giving up an earned run. Rice took the loss.

The Dodgers scored just enough runs in the first four innings to hold off the Panthers, and Trent Copenhaver closed the door with two scoreless innings on Tuesday night.
Tyler Gilbert flashed the hot stick, driving home four runs on three singles. Jacob Crawmer and Joe Murren had two hits apiece as well for the Dodgers.
Wade Groupp led the comeback effort for the Panthers, collecting three hits, two runs and an RBI. He also hit one of the team’s two triples. Dalton Groupp earned the other in a two-hit performance. Ethan Risner reached three times on a pair of walks and a double.
Justin Keith got the win, throwing five innings. Copenhaver allowed three hits and a walk, but none of the runs were credited his way. Andrew Wilmer took the loss in a complete-game effort.
