Lewis on final leg of long journey

While the Penn State football team underwent a massive identity crisis this offseason, former Gettysburg star Evan Lewis went through a rebirth as a Nittany Lion.

Early last spring, Lewis sat in his room while his teammates prepared to impress their new coach, Bill O'Brien. A failed experiment as a kicker in 2011 left one of the greatest Gettysburg High football players as a man without a position, forcing him to forego his fifth year of eligibility at Penn State.
