Shane Kecken pitched a gem, allowing seven hits and two walks in a 6.2 inning effort that was good enough to send West York to its second lost of the season.

Kecken also stroked a single and a double while driving in two runs. He scored one as well. Avery Kuntz and Nick Carpenter set the table, combining for five walks. Kuntz also singled. Both scored one and drove in another.

The Knights couldn’t get the last run they needed to erase a loss for Colton Devilbiss, who pitched a complete game, using 103 pitches. Kris Walter singled twice for the Knights.

Dallastown scored nine runs in the third and pulled away from the Colonials early on Monday.

Wade Linebaugh’s three-run double in the top of the third gave the Colonials a lead for a spell, but the Wildcats went rabid in the bottom of the frame. They scored four more in the fourth to get out in five innings. Brevin Neveker singled twice in the loss.

Jacob Thomas hit a grand slam as part of a five-run fourth inning to beat York Catholic on Monday.

Donald Martindale also went yard and picked up the win from the mound. TJ Huffman got the final five outs without allowing a run to earn the save. Both Martindale and Thomas had two hits apiece. Blake DiPietro doubled.

The Squirettes ran ragged on the Bulldogs, scoring in all but one inning during an offensive onslaught at home Monday.

Kylie Funkhouser powered two of the teams six doubles. She also drove home four runs and scored three. Katie Ernst had four RBI in a three-hit performance, scoring twice. Emma Schneider drove home three runs, and was one of four Squirettes with two hits apiece.

Maggie Rickrode picked up the win in the circle with a complete-game effort. She struck out seven and walked five.

The first five hitters in Gettysburg’s lineup had at least two hits. Kaelyn Blocher scored three runs, Brasee drove home two. Hayley Cisney tripled, one of her three hits, and scored twice. Aubriegh DeFriece had two RBI.

Bailey Smith broke open a 1-1 tie with a single to right-center in the fifth to score Molly Watkins. Carli Thayer gave the Bolts all the insurance they’d need, scoring Kailey Miller later in the inning in a tight victory over York Catholic on Monday.

Amaya Bowman went the distance, striking out 10, while allowing nine hits and three walks in the victory.

Littlestown’s Caitlin Eader doubled, part of a three-hit performance. Jada Mummert, Smith and Thayer had two hits apiece. Rebecca Baum doubled and homered for York Catholic while taking the tough loss from the circle.

Biglerville’s Gracie Roberts had an RBI double to prevent the shutout for Tori Murren, who went the distance for Berm.
