The Colonials crossed the dish four times in the first inning and Logan Strausbaugh took it from there, beating the Lions 7-3 on Friday.

Strausbaugh fanned five and walked one in going the distance, scattering six hits.

Offensively, Brevin Neveker went 2-for-3 with two runs scored and three stolen bases for the winners. Wade Linebaugh and Josh Bethas finished with two RBI apiece as well.

The Canners erupted for seven runs over the final two frames to secure a win at West York on Friday.

Connor Orner lifted a sacrifice fly to plate Logan Brewer and Tyler Weikert rattled an RBI single as part of a five-run sixth for Biglerville. Aaron Stremmel added a run-scoring base knock as well.

Nick Wright, who also had an RBI in the sixth, was 2-for-4.

Jeremy Johnson tossed five scoreless innings to get the win.

The Mustangs nearly wasted a 7-3 first-inning lead before cranking up the bats later again in Friday’s non-conference victory over the Herd.

An Ethan Stalnecker double and Ty Cromer’s home run highlighted the early explosion for South Western. Carlisle pulled even in the third, but the Mustang bats produced four runs over the fifth and sixth stanzas to grab the win.

Leadoff man Alex Klingler went 2-for-4 with three RBI and Cromer delivered a pair of hits.

Trinity scored twice in the seventh to break a 1-1 deadlock, ending a string of five scoreless innings pitched by Matt Rineman and Josh Sherdel.

Maggie Rickrode had a big day from both the pitching circle and the plate as the Squirettes toppled the Shamrocks on Friday.

Rickrode went 2-for-3 with a double and a solo home run offensively, while also twirling a three-hitter during her complete-game pitching effort. She racked up 10 strikeouts in the win.

Emma Schneider laced a triple, while Kylie Funkhouser and Maria Schussler had RBI for the winners.

Rickrode’s big effort offset a 15-strikeout performance by Shamrock ace Amanda Smith.
