Seven years into the YAIAA field hockey tournament, Bermudian Springs still hadn’t announced itself as a contender. Now in the tournament’s 10th season, the Eagles are the most dominant team in the bracket.

Bermudian Springs earned its third straight trip to the conference title game with a 3-0 victory over New Oxford on Thursday at Littlestown. The returning champs will face Division 1 Central York, a 2-1 victor or Red Lion in the semifinals. Though the pool of students they draw from is minuscule compared to the Panthers, there’s little doubt that the Eagles are the favorite heading into Saturday’s noon match at Red Lion.
