Delone Catholic coach Jason Leppo knew his team was in for a strong test entering its match against Central York, the top team in District 3 Class 4A, in the opening round of the YAIAA Tournament.

The Squirettes were reminded of that early on, as a terrific night in the middle from the Panthers’ Sydnie Johnson and a strong complementary effort on the outside from Alexa Shorts dispatched Delone in straight sets on Monday night at Dallastown, 16-25, 19-25 and 21-25.
