What a difference a year can make.

After a first-round exit a season ago, Bermudian Springs’ Anne Miles overcame a loss in the first set to win the next two over Littlestown’s Katharina Goltsche before defeating Kennard-Dale’s Julie Rubelmann 6-2, 6-1 in the YAIAA Class 2A Singles Tournament on Thursday at Wisehaven. The wins pushed Miles into today’s quarterfinals, which begin at 1 p.m. at South Western High School.
