JUMPING FOR JOY — Biglerville seniors Hannah Woodard (4) and Hailey Slusser celebrate following Woodward’s goal in Saturday’s District 3 Class 2A quarterfinal game at Trinity. The Canners dropped a 3-1 decision to the Shamrocks.

One by one, tears slowly leaked from under Danielle Cramer’s sunglasses, sliding down her left cheek as she gazed at her Biglerville girls’ soccer team.

The Canners were strewn about the sideline at COBO Field on the campus of Trinity High School, moments removed from a 3-1 loss to the Shamrocks in District 3 Class 2A quarterfinal play on Saturday morning. As the players quietly removed their cleats and shin guards, Cramer absorbed the moment and the realization that she had coached the team for a final time.
