Gettysburg ran its winning streak to 14 games after taking care of Susquehannock on Monday.

Zach Ketterman was stingy from the mound, limiting the hosts to just five hits in a complete-game effort. The Warrior hurler fanned eight while walking three.

Simeon Davis continued to swing a hot bat, going 3-for-4 with two RBI and a run scored. Logan Moseley matched Davis by swatting three singles, and Dylan Ed produced a pair of base knocks for Gettysburg (15-2).

Biglerville 24, Hanover 0

The Canners scored two dozen runs in the second inning to hammer the Hawks and lock up the YAIAA-4 title on Monday.

Biglerville (15-4) saw six different players finish with at least two RBI apiece, paced by Nick Wright’s four runs driven in and three each by Tyler Weikert and Wyatt Kline. Wright and Ben Angstadt had two hits apiece.

Weikert worked all three innings from the mound, recording a no-hitter with five strikeouts and no walks allowed.

Biglerville 2, Hanover 1

Gracie Roberts laced a one-out triple in the sixth and later scored on a passed ball to help push the Canners past the visiting Hawkettes on Monday afternoon.

Hayleigh Smith handcuffed Hanover over seven strong innings, yielding only four hits while striking out seven and walking two. Smith’s final whiff of the game closed out the seventh inning.

The Canners got on the board in the second when Smith, Mya Miller and Charlotte King all singled, and a passed ball allowed the game’s first run to come home.

Miller also doubled as part of a two-hit effort and Roberts finished with two knocks as well.

Saige Stevens tripled and Lexi Hippensteel doubled for Hanover.

Ashley Roberts and Ryleigh Bolyard drove in five runs apiece in a wild one on Monday.

The Knights and Spartans combined for 19 base hits and 24 walks.

Natalie Holmes doubled twice as part of a 3-for-5 day that included three RBI. Roberts, Bolyard and Haylee Wastler collected two hits each for the winners.
