SOGGY SOCCER — Fairfield’s Zoe Logue boots the ball as teammate Annabel Anderson runs up the field during Wednesday’s District 3 Class 1A championship game against Camp Hill, at Hersheypark Stadium. The unbeaten Lions took down the Green Knights, 2-0.

In a single minute of play in a scoreless game, the Fairfield girls’ soccer team missed its best opportunity, then fell into a hole too deep to get out of.

Camp Hill’s Julia Raich and Shelly Williams scored back-to-back markers 25 seconds apart during the second half for a 2-0 victory on Wednesday in the District 3 Class 1A championship at a rainsoaked HersheyPark Stadium.
