New Oxford's Abdul Janneh stiff-arms a Solanco defender to the turf during Friday's non-conference game at Colonial Stadium.

New Oxford finally returned home to open its new stadium, with a packed house and a boisterous student section eager to see the Colonials take the field. Energy was pumping and the environment rivaled that of a college football game.

The Ox received the opening kickoff and moved the ball early, but turnovers and deflating plays took the rhythm away for the Colonials, as Solanco spoiled the party with a 21-10 victory in a non-league contest at Colonial Stadium on Friday night.
