The Eagles scratched out a pair of runs in the top of the seventh inning to win a wild one against the Bearcats on Monday.

Bermudian (4-0) scored twice in the fifth to pull even before staging the final rally. Aden Juelich and Tucker Byers laced consecutive singles, with Juelich later coming around to score on a groundout by Tyler Reinert.

Reinert’s final RBI capped a big day that saw him go 3-for-4 with five RBI and three runs scored.

Juelich and Byers both finished with two hits and combined to score six runs.

Shane Starner fanned seven and did not allow an earned run in four innings of relief.

The Eagles crossed the dish 10 times in the fourth inning to close out the Spartans early on Saturday.

Justice Taylor, Tyler Sims and Tanner Althoff drove in two runs apiece to back starting pitcher Jake Carroll, who whiffed six while allowing only four singles.

Connor Orner’s home run highlighted a nine-run first-inning explosion by the visiting Canners on Monday.

Orner finished with three RBI while senior Tyler Weikert turned in a 3-for-4 effort.

Canner Ben Bretzman had a monster afternoon from the dish and the mound. Bretzman went 2-for-4 with a double and four RBI offensively while striking out 10 without walking a batter in a four-hit shutout.

York Tech started hot and never cooled off in a punishing victory over Delone Catholic on Monday.

The Squires fought back with a three-hit day by Jake Sherdel that included a double. Bryce Leonard, Kyle Denisch and Avery Kuntz also had two hits apiece. Leonard scored two and drove in two. Kuntz had a pair of RBI and two walks as well.

The Colonials and Eagles were knotted at 6-6 when the game was called for darkness in the top of the 11th inning.

Fairfield 18, Biglerville 3

Ashley Roberts slugged a double and a triple as part of an 11-hit Fairfield attack in Monday’s home win over Biglerville.

Roberts joined Haley Bolin with two hits and three RBI. Emily Ridge rattled a pair of doubles and finished with four RBI. Braidan Wastler also collected four RBI in addition to scoring three runs.

Mya Miller tripled and drove in a run for the Canners, with Mackenzie Vance also picking up a hit and an RBI.

Katie Ernst slammed a double and a homer to drive in four runs in the Squirettes’ blowout of York Tech on Monday.

Lauren Little and Kylie Funkhouser set the table, scoring four runs apiece and driving in three each as well. Little tripled in the contest while Funkhouser doubled. Emma Schneider also knocked in two on a triple.

Funkhouser picked up the win from the circle, allowing four runs, two earned, on five hits and two walks while striking out a pair.

The Warriors got the sweep in singles and split doubles to take a win over Biglerville at home on Monday.

Drew Heinzelmann, Kwaku Baryeh and David James won in straight sets. Biglerville’s Michael Rayo and Carlos Castillo took an epic battle at No. 1 doubles over brothers Noe and Lucas Oberholtzer-Hess, 7-5, 6-7 (6), 6-2.

Eryn Little and Lauryn Becker combined for eight goals in Monday’s thrashing of the Trojans.

Little led all scorers with five goals, and Brooke-Lynn Grim tallied a pair of markers. Hailey Linebaugh and Lauren Dubs also found the back of the net for the Ox.

The Trojans swept the Colonials, 25-17, 25-19,25-14 on Monday.

New Oxford was led by Chase Nell from the edge, as he brought down 10 kills. Matt Faust had 18 assists and two blocks. Tommy Haugh matched the block total. Nell also led his team in digs with four.
