Dillon Gebler stacked up six scoreless innings from the mound as the Warriors ran their winning streak to a sweet 16 on Friday.

Gebler, who gave up just five hits, kept the Bulldogs off the scoreboard until the seventh. He whiffed two batters and walked one.

Offensively, Collin Campbell and Dylan Ed both finished with two hits, a double and an RBI.

Gebler, Marshall Mott and Alex Meckley also drove in runs.

Weaver struck out three and walked only one, holding the Knights to three singles on 83 pitches.

Five different Bolts smashed two hits apiece in Friday’s thumping of the Eagles.

Carter Clabaugh, Kacie Frock, Molly Watkins, Bailey Smith and Megan Gorsuch all stroke two base knocks, combining for 10 RBI.

Amaya Bowman clipped the Eagle lineup by striking out nine and yielding only four hits.

District 3 Doubles Championships

All three Times Area tandems exited the District 3 Doubles Championships in Friday’s opening round in Hershey.

In Class 3A, New Oxford’s Justin Gruver and Michael Pagnanelli fell 6-2 in the first set against a pairing from Cocalico. The Colonials battled in the ensuing set before falling 7-5.

In Class 2A, teams from Biglerville and Bermudian Springs went out in straight sets. Canners Aaron Orndorff and Jorge Cervantes fell to the No. 1 seed 6-0, 6-0 while Eagles Brett Laughman and Nathan Edmondson dropped a 6-1, 6-1 decision to the fourth-seeded squad.
