Imagine a time when destiny, life circumstances or happenstance brought you and your family to settle in a new town, a new land of opportunity, perhaps? Where language, customs, weather, people, and opportunities seemed different.

Not difficult to imagine for it is the story of our ancestors or perhaps our own. Immigrants are and will be an important part of our communities, it is in fact, a factor that helps aging communities thrive and a fact of human history. Immigrants have existed since the dawn of civilization.
