There may be five short days to go before it’s official, but it definitely feels like springtime is here in Adams County. Days are getting warmer, birds are chirping, buds on the trees are emerging, and visitors to Gettysburg are starting to appear in greater numbers.

All these pleasant, seasonal changes make me think back to what the beginning of spring was like last year. That is to say, not quite as pleasant.
