As we write this, it is the end of October. Almost 75 million people have already voted, either through mail-in ballots or in-person early voting. While there may still be some people who are undecided, most people know who will be getting their vote.

Although this was written six days before the election, which is now in the history books, it sometimes seemed as though our nation has not been so divided since the Civil War.
