The most important word in the name of Pennsylvania’s first, largest and finest community college is “community.” HACC, Central Pennsylvania’s Community College, is a gem. Our five campuses and their unique qualities are what makes HACC so impactful to Central Pennsylvania.

I remember getting a tour of HACC’s Gettysburg Campus when I first joined the HACC team in 2012. The campus was beautiful and welcoming. The employees were friendly, helpful and approachable. The student hub was full of people and positive energy. I recall telling HACC’s president that I immediately felt at home on the campus.

Linnie S. Carter, Ph.D., APR, is the vice president of college advancement at HACC, Central Pennsylvania’s Community College, and executive director of the HACC Foundation.
