The global COVID-19 (coronavirus) pandemic continues to impact community college students at alarming rates. Even before the pandemic, students faced numerous challenges while earning their education. As an alumna of HACC, Central Pennsylvania’s Community College, I am familiar with the effort it takes to balance a college education with your other priorities.

The #RealCollege survey administered in the fall of 2018 at 123 two- and four-year institutions revealed the following startling statistics about students surveyed at two-year institutions:
