Many a gardener has a favorite color of flower.

Some even favor a monochromatic theme for entire flowerbeds such as all yellow or lavender or even all white. Yes, white is a color although to some of us, it seems to be the lack of color. While most of my flowerbeds are multi-colored, in the spring, the predominant colors are blue and purple. When challenged to think of blue flowers to write about, I initially had a reasonably small list. A bit of research resulted in a very nice listing of blue flowers by season.
