When and where did you first start riding? My parents gave me a used two-wheeler for my sixth birthday. It was a little big for me, but the excitement kept me motivated and I was soon able to balance and ride it. I grew up in a sleepy little town in Northern Wisconsin. Everyone rode bikes, so that’s the only way of life I knew.

How often do you ride now? I ride about twice a week, mainly for function, getting from A to B, which happens to also be very pleasurable. I can’t separate function from pleasure, because it’s all pleasurable.
