Music lovers are invited to join Gettysburg Community Concert Association (GCCA) for its "Diamond Anniversary" season during its membership campaign. The upcoming 2018-2019 concert season offers four concerts at the Gettysburg Area High School, plus 10 more free with membership, in Hagerstown and Waynesboro, through a regional agreement.
For the 75th season, GCCA brings back some of the most popular artists from the past 15 years: pianist, Philip Thomson; flutist, Eugenia Zukerman with the Manhattan Piano Trio; the Philadelphia Brass and chanteuse, Joanna Pascale with her combo, highlight this celebratory year. Hagerstown and Waynesboro offer some retro-country, an Irish ensemble, an a cappella group, 80's pop diva, Maureen McGovern and more. New this season - all Waynesboro concerts are on Sundays at 3 p.m. for a family friendly outing and easy daylight commute.
An adult membership is $50. Children are free. All membership forms submitted on or before July 31 are eligible for a drawing for "Dinner for Two" at Dobbin House Restaurant.
