The community is invited to join Healthy Adams County to discover the key findings of the 2018 Adams County Community Health Assessment.

Attendees will learn what the top health related needs are for Adams County and participate in the initial planning to tackle these priority areas over the next three years.

The free event will be held on Wednesday, June 13 from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m., at HACC's Gettysburg Campus, located at 731 Old Harrisburg Road in Gettysburg.

The event will feature a presentation of the county's health assessment data by Berwood Yost, director, Center for Opinion Research, Franklin & Marshall College as well as an update on ongoing Healthy Adams County's initiatives by executive director Kathy Gaskin.

Robin Fitzpatrick, president, Adams Economic Alliance and Shannon Harvey, vice president, HACC-Gettysburg will also discuss the economic impact on health and education.

The forum will also feature a panel discussion of local businesses on the importance of workplace wellness.

The afternoon session will be highlighted by breakout planning sessions on local food policy, social determinants of health, and workplace wellness.

Free continental breakfast and lunch will be provided to forum attendees.
