'Hats to America' program at Gburg Heritage Center

Take a musical journey with Grammy nominated performer, Ray Owen, Memorial Day weekend at the Gettysburg Heritage Center. Ray will be presenting, "Hats off to America," an award-winning American odyssey, which takes you through history on a musical adventure with a crew of colorful characters. The program will begin on Saturday, May 26, at 7:30 p.m. in the Gettysburg Heritage Center conference room. Tickets are $10 for adults, $6 for children, and are on sale now at the Gettysburg Heritage Center.

Ray's performance is uplifting and fun; great for the young, and young at heart. America's story will come to life with familiar tunes that will have the audience clapping and singing along! It is a fitting program for Memorial Day weekend.

Ray has performed with such legendary entertainers as Garth Brooks, Arlo Guthrie, Bill Monroe, Bob Hope, and has been on tour with Willie Nelson and America. His latest album release achieved national airplay, and was nominated for a Grammy.

This is the first of many special programs the Gettysburg Heritage Center will host over the 2018 summer season. Presentations center around Civil War era life through various topics such as field hospitals, magic shows, history of the battlefield, first-person presentations, and more.
