The Middle East Justice and Peace Group of South Central Pennsylvania invites the public to a free screening of the documentary film "Flying Paper," on Tuesday, Jan. 27 at 7 p.m. in the auditorium of Valentine Hall at the Lutheran Seminary in Gettysburg.

"Flying Paper" is a feature-length documentary co-produced by young filmmakers of Gaza who have been part of a youth media program called "Voices Beyond Walls". The film tells an inspiring story of resilient Palestinian youth on a quest to break the Guinness World Record for the most kites flown at the same time in one location. The movie cinematically captures the fascinating culture of kite making and flying among youth and a remarkable record-breaking event, as a form of creative resistance.
