ACNB helps local shelter animals

ACNB Bank staff members based at the Arendtsville, Bendersville, Biglerville and North Gettysburg offices recently raised $1,000 for the Adams County Society for the Prevention of Crueltl to Animals (ACSPCA), a customer of the bank. They donated items for sale and coordinated their own in-house yard sale to raise money for a cause that is near and dear to their hearts, animal welfare, according to an ACNB release. Additionally, ACNB Bank’s North Gettysburg office, 675 Old Harrisburg Road, is currently hosting a pet supply drive through June 15 to benefit the organization. Customers and local residents are encouraged to stop by and donate one or more dog or cat items such as food, collars, harnesses, play toys, chew treats, cleaning supplies and paper products, according to the release. ACNB Bank staff members gathered with Adams County SPCA Board President Pam Curley, board member Joan Stremmel, and shelter ambassador Gretchen at the bank’s North Gettysburg Office to present a $1,000 check to the organization.
