What makes you the best candidate? It is important to recognize problems that exist, and then be willing to problem solve having a “whatever it takes” attitude. It’s not about winning or losing but rather about doing your best to make things better for the people that you are working for. This also requires a keen ability to listen for understanding, realizing, with empathy that problems are real and must be faced with conviction. Finger-pointing and blaming others just doesn’t get the job done. I have had decades of experience in problem-solving and bringing people together to get the job done.

What are the most important issues facing the office you are seeking? Proper funding of public education is a priority for me. Getting Harrisburg to properly fund public schools and relieving property owners of some of the tax burden is something we need to finally make happen .... without losing local control of our schools. We must also find solutions to help our citizens find decent and affordable healthcare that does not rely on job security. But most importantly, we need to be able to bring South-central PA back from this pandemic crisis. That is what Harrisburg should be doing right now!

What are your ideas to help our community through the COVID-19 pandemic? The only way to get through this is to get through this. We cannot pretend that it does not exist. IT DOES!!! We need to follow the FACTS. We need to follow SCIENCE. We need to follow the TRUTH. All of these tell us that wearing a mask and social distancing WILL SAVE LIVES. I don’t think these are “ideas”, rather, it’s is simply common sense. The economy is not going to come back until people feel safe going out. So let’s get with it. Wear a mask! Make some space! It’s pretty simple. And don’t let anyone tell you otherwise!
