With concerns about traffic-control expenses resolved, “everything’s a go” for the Gettysburg Halloween parade planned Tuesday, organizer Heather Laughman said.

Offers of personnel by the Adams County Constable Association and other agencies, plus a detour change, will provide sufficient “boots on the ground,” Gettysburg Police Chief Robert Glenny said Tuesday during a regular borough council meeting. As a result, he said he is no longer recommending hiring an outside traffic-control company.
